In 1999, at Chitlapakkam, Rosily Higher Secondary School was started with the main objective of providing for the fullest possible development for the learner to live morally,creatively and productively. It was founded by Rosily Educational and Charitable Trust, and has been serving people in and around the locality. The salient features of this school is individual attention, conceptual teaching, holistic personality development and discipline.
PMJF Dr. J. Vitto Placka, the Senior Principal/ Correspondent is a person with a lot of vision for the school in particular and education in general. He has gotten many awards for his philanthropic work. He is the Past District Governor of Lions Club District 324 A8, the Area Commander (East) of Chennai City Home Guards of Chennai City Police and the Managing Director of Placka Instruments India Pvt Ltd. & Shreyas Industries Pvt. Ltd. Supported by an able team,he has been at the helm of the institution for the past 20 years.

The school has spacious class rooms in two adjoining buildings, well equipped laboratories, a library, a spacious play ground with Volley Ball, Tennis,Shuttle and Basket Ball Courts and other amenities.
